Dating and looking for love in midlife brings with it a very different set of challenges. What at one time was familiar (the dating process) is now a big mystery to both men and women. Dating has changed for many of us just as the world has changed. What would seem to be very easy isn’t so anymore. Lives are much less flexible, people are much less flexible, time demands are different, yet the desire and need to love and be loved is, for most of us, a life constant.
After time, some become disillusioned with it all and give up. In many ways I can understand why some do. However I don’t think that giving up is necessary if you understand certain aspects of dating and finding love at this stage of life. In arming yourself with knowledge and understanding you can make the process more effective for yourself, and hopefully much more enjoyable along the way as well.
AFter trying and trying and maybe not doing the right thing, i havent given up yet,..It is truly difficult to date nowadays, especially long distance dating/romance.Once i had this experience and thought that everything is oing smoothly and this is it, only to find out it is a short lived romance, fairy tale.. when I woke up i knew it wasnt a dream, it really happened,and i was hurt more than i can take, and took me time to recover.. Yes,It is a complicated thing now, times have made it that way..but i believe there are still good men who are willing to take time to know a person seriously.
